HAUSMAYHEM

About HAUSMAYHEM

Molly Roberts

Molly Roberts is an artist and ceramicist based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Working primarily with hand-built stoneware, she creates sculptural vessels and wall forms that explore the space between function and feeling.

Through her ongoing studio practice, HAUSMAYHEM, Roberts builds an evolving archive of objects that balance humour, tension, and tenderness in clay. Her works often take the form of hybrid vessels, objects that appear both protective and vulnerable, playful yet precise.

Beyond her studio practice, Roberts engages in curation and collaborative projects that extend her interest in making as dialogue. She has presented work at Decorex Cape Town (2025) and in independent exhibitions and group shows in Johannesburg.

Her practice continues to expand through teaching, studio building, and creative partnerships that bridge art, design, and community.
